Lanterna is the focaccia of the Genoese tradition, an authentic product made with the master bakers' recipe from 1960.
The traditional recipe requires only a few carefully selected ingredients, but achieving excellent focaccia demands the expertise of those who have been making it for generations.
Then comes the magic touch: the characteristic dimples on the surface, created with fingertips, fill with a delicious brine (a mixture of water, EVO oil, and salt), giving the focaccia its unique flavor and appearance.
